Verte Project (lat. turn the page over) is an attempt at stopping time and preserving memories. In this project I’ve used collected knick-knacks, notes and small gift from friends, all seemingly useless little things and made double-sided paintings. From the side of canvas there is usually an envelope inside of which is something referring to the other side of the painting. That the more essential visually side of the painting is the back which is normally left unused. My works encompassing lots of tiny details require viewer to take a closer look, to get it into your hand, to turn the stretcher bar around and contemplate.
